"I think it's better to have ideas. You can change an idea. Changing a belief is trickier. Life should be malleable and progressive; working from idea to idea permits that. Beliefs anchor you to certain points and limit growth; new ideas can't generate. Life becomes stagnant."

Life doesn't feel very stagnant lately. Why are we ignoring ourselves?

I wonder however if the "idea" that we should not have "beliefs" might not itself constitute a "belief" or an "anchor". Could not this "non anchor" create its own set of potential stagnations in life and in thought. It seems to me that what this quote is suggesting is a "belief" in "unbelief", a curious thing indeed. Just food for thought.

I agree 100%. I'm more communicating what I think recently... especially pertaining to only myself. I obviously know a lot of beautiful, intelligent people with beliefs. This wouldn't be my belief or unbelief by any means... just an idea.
